A year ago on that day Campbell Newman announced the killing of bats. Two species the Grey Flying Fox and Spectacle Flying Fox are on the Threatened Species List. We need to help all our bats from becoming Extinct. We need to send a message world wide before it’s to late. Take this picture download it put your page or put your message on it why we need to save these precious animals. The Australian Government needs to take responsibility for when these animals are gone for good. Now lets all save some bats!

The Ghost of Tasmania: The Thylacine, also known as Tasmanian Tiger or Wolf was the last member of its genus and the largest carnivorous marsupial of its time. The last individual died in 1933 in a zoo and marked the end of a creature driven to extinction on the basis of false accusations of slaughtering lifestock. Let us cherish the natural world in honour of Tasmania’s ghost.

Thylacine (Thylacinus cynocephalus) skeleton and model in Grant’s Zoological Museum, London, UK.
I LOVE THIS MUSEUM. They also have the thylacine skin from which DNA was extracted in the attempt to revive the species. Such an amazing little museum that’s full of wonderful curiosities!

so this would be another character in the potential comic/novel (but I’m leaning towards comic)
A gender neutral thylacine who is clever and cunning and mysterious
they don’t have name yet though (the naming of them is going to be a really difficult task)
